BIOGRAPHY AND CV OF STEVE BADDELEY

Steve Baddeley was born in 1950.After first studying engineering at Newcastle under Lyme College he moved to Devon in the 1970s. A varied career then followed including bespoke furniture making and landscape photography. The common element in all of Steve’s work has been his love of sculpture.

Extensive travels in Canada , Alaska and New Zealand introduced him to Innuit and Polynesian art and gave him the opportunity to work with native carvers.

This combined with his love of sculpture from ancient civilisations is the inspiration for his work.
